Insurance Information

Insurance companies vary greatly in what they cover and what they do not, so it has become necessary to verify EVERY individual policy before your visit.  We do not have control over deductibles, copays, and co-insurance, and all we can do it find out what you have contracted with your insurance company.  These items are not something we can negotiate and are the responsibility of each patient to be aware of.  All copays, deductibles, and coinsurances are due at the time of service without exception. Please check your coverage in advance to make sure you are aware of what your coverage is. If we cannot verify guarantee of payment from your insurance company, you will be required to pay in full at the time of your visit.

Although we have the ability to check insurance coverages on a real time basis and it is quite accurate, mistakes do occasionally occur, especially if insurers have not updated their records. We can and will make direct inquiries on your behalf if there is a discrepancy.

We do not do billing in house. Our billing is provided by the experts at Ameriderm, a company which provides billing services to many practices and whose expertise and resources are unmatched. If you have a billing problem with Ameriderm that you are unable to resolve, please call the office in Londonderry and speak to one of our staff. They will notify the doctor who will address the issue for you promptly.

Tufts
United Healthcare (except Advantage).
If you have questions about one of these plans, please contact out office and the staff will be happy to assist you.

We are currently not accepting new patients with:
Harvard Pilgrim
Humana
Martin's Point
Medicaid
First Health
Multiplan
PHCS
If you have one of these plans as primary insurance, we will not be able to accept you as a  new patient. Please contact a dermatology office that accepts your insurance. If you are an existing patient, we would be happy to see you but would have to pay in cash and then submit to your insurer on your own. Please contact your insurer for instructions. If you need assistance finding another physician, please let us know and we will be glad to help you where possible.

If you have one of these as a secondary insurance to Medicare, please call the office for specific information.
